What Official Olympic Fair Events are available?
All Olympic collectors are invited to attend any or all events (you do not need to be a booth holder at the Fair). There are 3 Official Olympic Fair Special Events:
- Olympic Coliseum Bus Tour & LA84 Foundation Reception (5 September)
- Reception & Silent Auction at Gladstone’s Restaurant (6 September)
- Gala Reception & Banquet at the Queen Mary (7 September)
Who may participate in the Olympic Fair Events?
Ticketed events are open to all Olympic and sports collectors. However, if tickets are limited, priority will be given to booth holders, their registered guests/family members, and other registered members of the Olympic collecting community.
How do I register for events?
To sign up for any of the Official World Olympic Collectors’ Fair Special Events, simply complete the Event Registration Form by clicking on the button below. Deadline for registering for Events is 15 July 2018.
How and when do I pay for my events?
Payment is required upon completion of the Event Registration Form. Payment is accepted only in US dollars and may be made through PayPal (please note that a 4% service charge will be added to cover the PayPal fee). To avoid the PayPal fee, residents in the US also have the option to pay by personal check or postal money order.

LA COLISEUM TOUR &
LA84 FOUNDATION RECEPTION
Time (approx.): 5PM – 9:30PM
Cost: $45 per person for combined Bus Tour & LA84 Reception. $20 per person for LA84 Reception ONLY.
Program: Buses will transport participants to the LA Coliseum, the main stadium for the 1932 and 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, for a brief tour of the Peristyle area. Buses will continue on to the LA84 Foundation (2141 W Adams Blvd.) for a special reception from 7PM – 9PM (light appetizers, beer, wine and soft drinks will be included in the price of the event). Buses will return participants to the Renaissance Hotel. Those not wishing to take the bus tour may arrange their own transportation to the LA84 Foundation. Parking is very limited!

RECEPTION & SILENT AUCTION
Time (approx.): 7:30PM – 9:00PM
Cost: This event is free to all Olympic collectors; registration is required. You do not need to have a booth to attend.
Program: Gladstone’s Restaurant (330 S Pine Ave.), a 10-minute walk from the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel, is the venue for the traditional reception and Silent Auction. Light appetizers and a cash bar will be provided. The Silent Auction will feature donated Olympic collectibles in all price ranges with all proceeds benefiting the 2018 World Olympic Collectors’ Fair, so bid early and bid often! Only US$ will be accepted in payment (credit cards issued by a US bank, PayPal, cash or US$ checks drawn on a US bank).

GALA RECEPTION & BANQUET
Time (approx.): 7:30PM – 10:30PM
Cost: $65 per person which includes both the reception (light appetizers and cash bar) and dinner.
Program: The R.M.S. Queen Mary docked in Long Beach Harbor is the site of this year’s Gala Reception & Banquet. Guests will enjoy a hosted reception with cash bar, followed by a sumptuous dinner (choice of fish, chicken or vegetarian). The Queen Mary is located approximately 1.7 miles from the hotel (walking time is about 35 minutes). While limited transport will be arranged from the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel to and from the Queen Mary, guests may prefer to use either Uber or Lyft (fares run around $5-7 each way).
